Feels like home
After a scary ride in a moving blue crate we finally land back on steady ground. The door of the crate opens and I’m greeted by a warm room larger than any I have seen before. No longer scared, I venture out of my crate and begin to explore. There are soft surfaces and hard surfaces. Lots of place to hide if I wanted. There are two dark passages that I am not brave enough to venture into, one going upward and the other leading downward.
The humans put out a new bed that doesn’t smell like any other animals, some familiar food, water, and a litter box. I show my gratitude by climbing all over them and marking them as my territory. They are so kind and gentle, after some more exploring I found myself a nice a warm lap times nap in for a bit.
These humans seem to be as interested in me as I am interested in exploring my new environment. Later that day more humans showed up, all seemed to be curious about me. I marked them all and they all showed their gratitude by petting me. I think I’m going to like it here.
