This month we lost the internet sensation Grumpy Cat. She was born in April of 2012 and would go on to gaining internet stardom when photos of her were poster to Reddit at the end of September 2012. In the years that followed, she would go on to inspire clothing, stickers, stuffed animals, calendars, and an endless supply of internet memes. She got to meet and have her photo taken with many celebrities around the world. May 14, 2019 Tardar Sauce crossed the rainbow bridge as she left the physical world behind. She will always remain with us in spirit and continuing the meme tradition.
I usually only work with images I have taken myself but I decided it was only fitting that I pay tribute to one of the most famous cats of all time. You will never be forgotten Grumpy Cat.
